AMD launched the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 GPUs two days ago, and they did pretty well compared to the RTX 50 series GPUs. In terms of performance, the RX 9070 series is satisfactory and was particularly good in availability and price as far as the launch day is concerned.
If you weren’t able to secure one of those GPUs, you may get one for absolutely free. For a limited time, AMD has announced a giveaway that will allow five lucky winners to get their hands on the Radeon RX 9070 XT GPUs. The SVP and GM of the Computing and Graphics department at AMD, Jack Huynh, has announced the giveaway on X that starts today and will run for the next six days.

The giveaway is aimed at gamers, ‘creators’, and ‘innovators’, and is announced as a ‘Thank You’ for giving back to the community. While there will be five RX 9070 XT GPUs for the giveaway, two of them will be signed by AMD’s CEO, Dr. Lisa Su. The giveaway is hosted by Gleam and will only apply to residents of the USA and Canada. Unfortunately, the giveaway isn’t open to everybody in the world right now.

The conditions require you to be at least 18 years old, and you need to provide your real name, address, and phone number for shipping. If you are lucky to win one of those, you may need to pay the VAT or the import tax. Moreover, it should be kept in mind that following the results, winners will have to wait for around four weeks for delivery to their house.
It’s not known whether the GPUs will be the reference design only or whether they will also include custom AIB editions. Nonetheless, users have already started participating in the giveaway, and here is the link to it if you don’t want to miss any chance.
The Radeon RX 9070 XT boasts a NAVI 48 die and brings 4096 SPS, 16 GB GDDR6 VRAM, a 256-bit memory bus, and up to 3.1 GHz of boost clock on premium editions. The GPU is slightly slower than the RTX 5070 Ti but costs $150 less, offering much better value for money.
