NVIDIA’s GTC 2025 venue also offers the “scarce” GeForce RTX 5090/RTX 5080 GPUs at their Gear Store for those interested in getting their hands on high-end RTX Blackwell models.
NVIDIA Is Essentially “Distributing” MSRP Stock of The GeForce RTX 50 GPUs At GTC 2025, Be Quick To Grab Your Unit
Well, the retail availability of NVIDIA’s RTX 50 GPUs is simply too low for the average consumer, but if you are still eager, head over to Team Green’s Gear Store, which is set up at the GTC 2025 venue. According to NVIDIA, the GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 models, likely the reference variants, are available at the store, and interestingly, that might be the only way you can get the GPUs at MSRP since, with retail channels, it is likely impossible.

Given that this news spreads, it is likely that the demand will start to increase massively, hence it might be best to visit the venue as soon as possible. We don’t expect inventory to be too much, likely in double-digit figures. Still, we do hope that these units get into the hands of the average gamer, who is deprived of the RTX 50 series mainly due to low launch inventory, along with how scalpers are involved in benefiting from the situation.
The inventory fiasco with the launch of the RTX 5000 series has been very troublesome, given that major retailers started to report single-digit stock during the initial launch days. NVIDIA has assured us that GPUs will get restocked over time, but it seems like the wait will be pretty long, extending to weeks, given the supply chain issues. The situation is much more terrible with flagship RTX Blackwell GPUs, but even mid-tier 70-class models are being sold at inflated prices.
For now, consumers looking to get their hands on the latest-gen GPUs are prioritizing AMD’s RX 9070 series, given that far better availability, with models being available at MSRP. If the NVIDIA situation continues like this, it would probably mean that AMD’s GPU market share will grow rapidly, which isn’t good news for Team Green.
